Build Your VILLAGE.

In-home postpartum care

When I arrive for a daytime shift, my primary goal is to "mother the mother," creating a calm space where you can focus on healing and bonding. You can expect me to jump right in and handle the heavy lifting of your household—I’ll prep you a nutritious lunch, fold the baby laundry, and make sure your pump parts and bottles are clean and ready to go. While I take care of the "background noise," I’m also there as your mentor and sounding board; I'll help you troubleshoot breastfeeding latches, practice baby-wearing, and learn to read your newborn's subtle cues with the unique addition of assessment and education of a Registered Nurse. Whether you need me to hold the baby so you can take a long, uninterrupted shower and a nap, or you just need a non-judgmental ear to process your birth story, I am there to ensure you feel physically nourished and emotionally confident by the time I leave.

PostPartum Preparation

As your postpartum doula, my goal during our consultation is to transform your home into a restorative sanctuary by mapping out the practical logistics of your "fourth trimester." We will move beyond medical charts to build a custom plan that prioritizes your physical healing, sets firm boundaries with visitors, and organizes your support system—from meal coordination to nursing station setups. By the end of our session, you’ll have a clear roadmap for your emotional and physical recovery, ensuring that instead of just "getting by" those first few weeks, you feel empowered, nourished, and fully supported as you bond with your new baby.

Hypnobirthing classes

Hypnobirthing is an evidence-based approach to childbirth that combines self-hypnosis, deep relaxation, and specialized breathing techniques to help expectant parents navigate labor with confidence and calm. At its core, the method seeks to replace the cycle of "fear-tension-pain" with a state of deep, conscious awareness that allows the body to function as nature intended. By using tools like positive affirmations and visualization, practitioners report a wide range of benefits, including a significantly reduced perception of pain, shorter labor durations, and a lower likelihood of requiring medical interventions such as epidurals or C-sections. Beyond the physical advantages, hypnobirthing empowers parents to feel more in control and informed, often leading to a more positive birth experience and potentially higher APGAR scores for the newborn.

“As a first-time mom, I developed mastitis because I wasn’t properly taught how milk removal works. I was overwhelmed and in a lot of pain until she came to my home, relieved the pressure, and clearly explained what was happening in my body. The relief was immediate. She also made sure I had the knowledge and supplies I needed to manage on my own. Her support made such a difference during a very difficult time, and I would highly recommend her to any new mom. ”
